For the Remix of Bankroll, I wanted something that remained chill and spacey, but had a higher tempo for dancing purposes. As apposed to it’s original, lofi, relaxed, hip hop feel, I began to chop the elements and rework them into something more uptempo, with a slowed “chopped and screwed” outro. Almost more of a House or EDM genre than Hip-Hop. I transposed all of the elements so that the tone felt more upbeat. I took phrases from the original raps and repeated them for a more catchy and simplistic listen.
